Earlier this week Carlisle United Football Club launched their latest promotion which saw ticket prices slashed for the visit of Leyton Orient on 21st March.

Kingmoor Park are proud members of Carlisle United’s business club and Managing Director, Neil McIntyre is a huge fan of the Blues (along with his son Alfie). So as soon as he heard about the #GoodVibrations ticket donation scheme he was keen to make a big commitment.

Kingmoor Park Based North Lakes Energy are also supporting the campaign by donating 50 tickets alongside Kingmoor Park.

Some of the tickets will be donated to Carlisle Youth Zone, where Kingmoor Park are founder patrons and Neil volunteers. The remaining tickets will be donated to Kingmoor Junior School.

Neil has worked closely with the club on a number of projects since he took on his role as MD of Kingmoor Park in March 2018.

“It’s a pleasure to be involved.” Neil Said when Carlisle United Platers Mo Sagaf and Jack Bridge visited Kingmoor Park earlier this week. “At Kingmoor Park we do a lot of work with young people within our community, and it’s fantastic for us to know that this donation will enable a significant number of children to be involved in what we all hope will be enjoyable day.  “We wish Carlisle United the very best with their #GoodVibrations initiative and we’re looking forward to seeing the crowd at least match the numbers we got for the MK Dons fixture last season.”

Finance director Suzanne Kidd said: “It goes without saying that some of the tickets donated by Kingmoor Park will go to the Youth Zone, and we’ll also be giving some others to schools in the local area.

“Neil is another local businessman who is a massive Carlisle United fan, and he also provides support with work we do at the Youth Zone and, of course, with the Carlisle Half marathon, which is now an annual event at Brunton Park.  “We thank him and Kingmoor Park for backing #GoodVibrations with this very generous donation.”

You can buy any number of tickets and donate them to a local community group or school of your choice, and Carlisle United will try and come along to personally deliver the tickets with a first team player!
