Six New Jobs Created at Growing Logistics Firm

Beaches Logistics Carlisle has recently moved to a new larger unit on Kingmoor Park and taken on six new members of staff.

The move to Unit B, a 40,000sqft premises on Kingmoor Park Central in Carlisle, has allowed the company to add four more drivers, a warehouse operative and an accounts manager to the team, and is better placed for their customers and boasts an enhanced layout with dock level loading bays.

Beaches Logistics operates across the UK and specialises in pallet collection and storage, heavy haulage and general haulage. From their new Carlisle depot, they are strategically located just off J44 of the M6 Motorway which is ideal for distribution channels between England and Scotland.

Speaking on their move, Bryan Jones, Beaches Logistics Group Commercial Director said:

“We’re delighted to have moved to the new site. It’s a better building for our storage facility and will allow us to continue to grow in response to customer demand.

“The staff are happy with the improved office and kitchen facilities, and the floor plan with plenty of open space is exactly what I was looking for to help us achieve our expansion plans over the coming years.”

Beaches joins the growing list of companies that have been able to utilise the Enterprise Zone benefits and financial incentives.
