Kingmoor Park - Commercial Property - Profile
Kingmoor Park was created from the former 14 MU Ministry of Defence Storage Site which closed in 1998 with the loss of over 500 jobs. Manchester based Property Developer, Brian Scowcroft, was chosen by the two local authorities and English Partnerships, as the private sector investor. Brian and his team have lead the transformation of the site which is now known as Kingmoor Park.
Just over 13 years later Kingmoor Park now has over 100 tenants and over 1500 employees on site. These numbers are set to grow considerably following the successful completion of planning for two major projects, namely the ‘Hub’ and the ‘Brunthill’ developments which will not only result in an expansion of office and warehouse space but will introduce retail and leisure facilities to the extent that Kingmoor Park will in the future no longer be perceived as just an industrial estate but will become a destination for visitors in its own right.
Brian Scowcroft is Executive Chairman of Kingmoor Park Properties Ltd, the management company behind the site’s development. Brian is supported by Chief Executive Tony Goddard, an established and experienced Chartered Surveyor. Heading up the Marketing of the Development is Evlyn Goddard, Marketing Director and Property Manager Ross Nicolson.
Local commercial property agents Cargiet Cowen are the retained agents for the site.
