After just over a year as Financial Controller for Kingmoor Park Properties Ltd, the management company behind the 400 acre Kingmoor Park industrial estate in Carlisle, Neil McIntyre has been elevated to Finance Director with a position on the company’s Board of Directors.
Neil, who is originally from Whitehaven, studied at Whitehaven School before enrolling at Leeds Metropolitan University in 1999 to study Accounting and Finance obtaining a 2:1 BA (Hons) in 2003. Neil joined Kingmoor Park Properties Ltd in 2015 after spending 10 years working through the financial ranks of System Group taking on a variety of roles including Management Accountant, Commercial Bid Writer and Project Manager culminating in the post of Company Commercial Accountant. His new role at Kingmoor Park will see Neil overseeing both the day to day finances of the organisation together with the strategic planning and forecasting required as the business looks to continue it’s expansion.
Commenting on his promotion Neil said:

The introduction of Enterprise Zone status for Kingmoor will have a far reaching impact on the Carlisle area in terms of job creation, sustainability and economic wellbeing. I will play my part in the process to the best of my ability to ensure that we maximise this opportunity to ensure the site’s continued success”.
Away from the financial world Neil has a wife and a young family and is committed to keeping fit and maintaining a healthy lifestyle as well as having a good work/life balance. He is a keen supporter of local charities and has previously completed a skydive raising in excess of £3,000 for Carlisle Youth Zone as well as being involved in voluntary football coaching in the area.
