The first section of a £176m bypass for Carlisle has just been opened and for the first time in Kingmoor Park’s history, public access, will not just be allowed but actively encouraged as the existing security barrier system comes down.

A NEW FACILITY FOR YOUNG PEOPLE WITH PROFOUND DISABILITIES

On Tuesday, 7th September at 11.15am, the Trustees of Carlisle Mencap will see the “virtual” designs for the proposed Grace Little Centre which have been created by Carlisle based Architects Plus.  The Centre, when built will be the only respite facility for parents with profoundly disabled children in the area.  The designs, including a computer generated fly-through, will be launched in the offices of Architects Plus, Victoria Galleries, Viaduct House, Victoria Viaduct, Carlisle, CA3 8AN.


PLANNING PERMISSION GRANTED FOR ONE OF THE NORTH WEST’S LARGEST INDUSTRIAL ESTATES - 26/07/2010

Kingmoor Park Properties Ltd (KPPL) has secured planning for the development of over 90 acres of Greenfield land at Kingmoor Park, a 400 acre industrial estate in Carlisle which is immediately adjacent to Junction 44 of the M6.  This new development, which has been named the “Brunthill Estate” will form the next phase of development for this Regional Investment Site which is already a key employment location in Cumbria.


PLANNING APPROVED FOR MULTI MILLION POUND REDEVELOPMENT SCHEME FOR LEIGH - 09/03/2010

Alard Properties Ltd (APL), together with HOW Planning have secured approval for a major mixed use development close to the heart of the town centre in Leigh, Greater Manchester.  Now known as Bridgewater Place, the scheme is set to transform over 25 acres of aging industrial space into a vibrant commercial and residential location following approval of an outline planning application and accompanying Masterplan by Wigan Metropolitan Borough Council.

Kingmoor Park Properties Ltd (KPPL), owners of Kingmoor Park, Cumbria’s only Regional Investment Site, have recently submitted an outline planning application to Carlisle City Council for the development of over 90 acres of land adjacent to the existing 400 acre site on Junction 44 of the M6.
 
The planning application, which has been compiled by Manchester based specialists, HOW Planning, includes:
 
-                     an extensive array of industrial and warehouse buildings
-                     high quality offices
-                     units to meet the needs of small to large businesses
-                     extensive landscaping and wildlife areas
-                     area of Common Land to be retained as part of the proposal
 


VIP tour for Carlisle Learners - 24/03/2009

Nine lucky GEN II learners have recently received a VIP tour of Carlisle United Football Club thanks to David Allen, Chief Executive of the Club.
GEN II who, have a large engineering training workshop and conferencing facilities on Kingmoor Park South, set up their engineering training facility in September 2007.
In December GEN II held their North Cumbria Learner Awards Ceremony at Kingmoor Park which was hosted by ITV newsreader Fiona Armstrong. 
David Allen & Co Chartered Accountants were one of the sponsors of the award ceremony and invited the winners as a token of congratulations for their achievements.


Kingmoor Park Welcomes Geopost - 01/03/2009

Kingmoor Park Properties Ltd will be investing approximately £500,000 to get Unit D ready for occupation including division of  the 42,000sqft (3,900 sqm) building into two units of 16,500 sqft (1,533 sqm)  for DPD’s use and another of 25,500 sqft (2,369 sqm) for re-letting by Kingmoor Park.  Other works include new gas, water and electricity services, extending yard areas for parking and loading, creating a new access road and installing two new dock level loading doors.
