Brian Scowcroft, together with Andrew Tinkler, Chief Executive of the Eddie Stobart Group, sponsors two Academies in Carlisle; Richard Rose Central Academy and Richard Rose Morton Academy. Both projects are in the process of being built the £30m Central Academy, located near to the eastern entrance to Carlisle will be completed in January 2011 and the £25m Richard Rose Morton Academy, which is located to the west of Carlisle, will be completed in September 2011.
